Description
It the story of a girl Margaret Friar, the daughter of a local football team manager, coexists after World War II. Margaret meets young German soldier Bert Trautmann, a captive soldier with a strong skill as a talented goalkeeper. One day, Margaret's father decided to get Bert out of the camp to play in the local ball. Bert was a German prisoner of war who suffered from that personal tragedy and public hostility after the war.
